  I have been going to this spa for few months now and I think I am now ready to give my review. I am sorry in advance that my review is pretty lengthy.
  
  I have always been skeptical with new spas as they sprout everywhere, they come and go, and most of all, I have had bad experiences with a few. I used to go to a spa in Cerritos and then went with my esthetician that went freelancing after. Then my co-workers started raving about this new medical spa in Fullerton and I got so curious. I finally went with some of friends and co-workers and oh my - I fell in love with The Retreat Medical Spa!
  
  The ambiance is to die for, ultra-clean, comfortable, cozy, and luxurious. It is like walking into a high-end hotel. The hospitality of the staff is exemplary. I met the doctor who owns the place and then I was greeted with great smiles the staff and was offered their special house drink (which was apparently a recipe of the owner) and other refreshments - coffee, tea, etc.). I was then escorted to relax in their lounge, dimmed lights, cozy leather sofa, a selection of my favorite magazines. The ambiance was exhilarating and romantic - I wished that my husband was with me at that very moment.
  
  I have had recent injection from Dr. Kaw. He made sure I understand the risk, benefits and side effects of my treatment. He made my injection so effortless, quick and with results that my friends are now so jealous of. Not to mention he has a very light touch. I have referred more than ten friends to him since my injections.
  
  Now lets talk about my facial treatment experience. As I mentioned earlier, I am very picky with my estheticians. For the past few months, I have had both Amanda and Yvette, who are both very skillful and knowledgeable with the skin and esthetic skin products. They explain the steps of the treatment and answered my questions quite impressively. By the way, this medical spa uses both ZO Obagi and Skinmedica products that are high-end and expensive medical grade products. How do I know? Because I am a nurse, and I research anything that is used on my skin. Of course, they carry the same back bar products for purchase but they are not pushy at all to sell. I also tried their algae peel-off mask from Spain and it was heavenly soothing.
  
  I also have had few massages there from Martin, Jessica and Jenny. They have different techniques but I enjoyed either one of them when I had my deep tissue and trigger point massage therapies. I was skeptical at first to have a male massage therapist but because I know the owner of the spa is a medical doctor, I felt at ease that he would have screened his staff carefully. True enough, Martin was very professional.
  
  A splendor of beauty and skillful staff describes my now routine monthly "retreat" at this spa. I now call this place my second home because my skin always feel rejuvenated. I also find joy and peace with the solemnity of the place and the hospitality of the staff.
